Offensive Player/Offensive Rookie of the Week

Shea McManaway, Endicott (Fr., WR)

Freshman Shea McManaway (Lisbon, Conn.) showed he is adjusting well to his new role as a receiver with a strong performance in Endicott's conference-opening victory over Curry on Saturday (Sept. 29). The converted quarterback reeled in nine catches for 91 yards including three scores. Both his catch and touchdown numbers were career-highs and his three touchdowns are also tied for second all-time in program history in a single game.

Defensive Player of the Week

William Rivera, Endicott (Sr., LB)

Senior linebacker William Rivera (Orangeburg, N.Y.) had a game-high 12 tackles (seven solo, five assisted) in Endicott's 52-22 conference-opening victory over Curry on Saturday (Sept. 29). Among those tackles were a sack and 1.5 tackles for a loss. He also forced a fumble that was recovered by the Gulls and led to an Endicott touchdown. Rivera also had one pass breakup.

Defensive Rookie of the Week

Keegan Stanton-Meas, University of New England (Fr., LB)

First-year linebacker Keegan Stanton-Meas (Portland, Maine) had 14 tackles (seven solo, seven assisted) in the University of New England's first-ever CCC Football league contest. Among his tackles we a one for a two-yard loss.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Nick DiCairano, Endicott (Jr., K)

Placekicker Nick DiCairano (Trumbull, Conn.) continued to be consistent in Endicott's CCC Football win over Curry on Saturday (Sept. 29). He contributed 10 points to the 52-22 victory, including 45-yard field goal which places him in a tie for fifth all-time in program history. He also converted all seven of his point-after attempts.

ABOUT COMMONWEALTH COAST FOOTBALL

Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) is a single-sport football conference operating under the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) umbrella. The league has been in operation since 1965 (formerly as the New England Football Conference (NEFC)). The league currently consists of seven members – Becker, Curry, Endicott, Nichols, Salve Regina, the University of New England, and Western New England. Husson will join the conference in 2019.
