Offensive Player of the Week

Alec Coleman, Western New England (Jr., QB)

Junior Alec Coleman (Arlington, Mass.) was a part of five touchdowns in Western New England's 56-21 CCC Football victory over Curry on Saturday (Oct. 13). He completed 19 of his 29 passes for 273 yards including four touchdown passes. He also ran for 41 yards and another score. He had a 190.1 efficiency rating in the contest.

Defensive Player of the Week

McCoy Scott, Nichols (Sr., LB)

Nichols linebacker McCoy Scott (Bronx, N.Y.) helped the Bison to a 23-15 CCC Football win over Becker on Saturday (Oct. 13). His biggest play of the day was a third quarter interception that he returned 60 yards for a touchdown. The pick-six was his first career interception and the return was the sixth-longest in program history. He also had seven tackles (four solo, three assisted), including a sack, and broke up one pass.

Offensive Rookie of the Week

Shea McManaway, Endicott (Fr., QB)

Freshman Shea McManaway (Lisbon, Conn.) did damage as a wide receiver and as quarterback in Endicott's big conference win over the University of New England on Saturday (Oct. 13). He caught four passes for a total of 59 yards with two of those receptions going for scores. He also had a six-yard touchdown pass in the contest.

Joshua Salem, Western New England (Fr., LB)

Freshman Joshua Salem (Dracut, Mass.) was a big contributor in Western New England's conference win over Curry on Saturday (Oct. 13). He was the team's second-leading with eight stops (four solo, four assisted) in the 56-21 victory.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Nick DiCairano, Endicott (Jr., K)

Junior Nick DiCairano (Trumbull, Conn.) recorded 12 points in Endicott's 66-38 victory over the University of New England. He was 1-for-2 on his field goal attempts converting a 42-yarder. He was perfect on his point-after attempts going 9-for-9, which tied the program record in PATs made and attempted.

ABOUT COMMONWEALTH COAST FOOTBALL

Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) is a single-sport football conference operating under the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) umbrella. The league has been in operation since 1965 (formerly as the New England Football Conference (NEFC)). The league currently consists of seven members – Becker, Curry, Endicott, Nichols, Salve Regina, the University of New England, and Western New England. Husson will join the conference in 2019.
