Offensive Player of the Week

Riley Shanley, Endicott (So., TE)

Sophomore tight end Riley Shanley (Simsbury, Conn.) picked a good game to have one of the best statistical games of his career as he contributed to Endicott's 41-38 win over Western New England in a battle of the undefeateds. He caught eight passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns (all career-highs) and a two-point conversion. He was a major factor on the Gulls' game-winning drive as he caught a 33-yard pass over two defenders on 4th-and-14 to keep the drive alive. He then caught the seven-yard game-winning touchdown with 21 seconds remaining in the game. The win ended WNE's 25-game conference win streak.

Defensive Player of the Week

Allen Gibson, Endicott (Sr., DB)

Senior Allen Gibson (Seymour, Conn.) recorded a team-best nine tackles (five solo, four assisted) in Endicott's 41-38 win over Western New England on Saturday (Nov. 3). He also helped contribute to the Gulls' comeback effort by recovering a fumble and returning it for a touchdown. That score cut into the Golden Bear's 31-26 advantage at the time.

Offensive Rookie of the Week

Marc O'Neal, Becker (Fr., WR)

Freshman Marc O'Neal (Dayton, Ohio) had three receptions for 63 yards and touchdown as Becker picked up its first win of the season. His 20-yard score with 3:45 to go in the second quarter put the Hawks up 21-14 allowing them to ride the momentum to the 31-17 win.

Defensive Rookie of the Week

Elijah Hill, Becker (Fr., DB)

Freshman Elijah Hill (Tampa, Fla.) helped Becker earn its first win of the season, a 31-17 victory over the University of New England. He had a team leading two pass breakups in the contest.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Kurtis Jolicoeur, Western New England (Sr., LB)

Western New England's Kurtis Jolicoeur (Windham, N.H.) force defensively for the Golden Bears on Saturday (Nov. 3). He was also a factor on special teams as he was able to block two kicks. His blocked punt in the first quarter was recovered and returned for a touchdown.

ABOUT COMMONWEALTH COAST FOOTBALL

Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) is a single-sport football conference operating under the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) umbrella. The league has been in operation since 1965 (formerly as the New England Football Conference (NEFC)). The league currently consists of seven members – Becker, Curry, Endicott, Nichols, Salve Regina, the University of New England, and Western New England. Husson will join the conference in 2019.
