Offensive Player of the Week

Katie Beaudoin, University of New England (Jr., F)

University of New England junior Katie Beaudoin (Coventry, R.I.) scored both goals the Nor'easters' CCC victory over Salve Regina on Saturday (Oct. 6). She took five shots in the 2-0 win with four of them being on-goal.

Jenna Pannone, University of New England (So., GK)

Sophomore goalkeeper Jenna Pannone (Prospect, Conn.) picked up her second straight clean sheet this week and improved to 5-0 for the University of New England on the year. The win came in a conference match against Salve Regina on Saturday (Oct. 6). She made four saves in the 2-0 win.

Rookie of the Week

Allison Bruehwiler, Western New England (Fr., F)

Freshman forward Allison Bruehwiler (Old Saybrook, Conn.) sparked Western New England's comeback win over Gordon on Saturday (Oct. 6) with a pair of goals early in the second half. The Golden Bears came out of the halftime break trailing 2-0 before Bruehwiler recorded her first tally in the 47th minute. She then converted on a penalty kick in the 50th minute to tie the contest. WNE would go on to win the match 3-2.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of nine full member and one associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 18 intercollegiate sports.
