Asha Steele, Gordon (Sr., M)

Gordon senior Asha Steele (Bedford, N.H.) had a hand in both goals scored in the Scots' 2-2 draw against Curry. Steele netted one of the goals and assisted the other on Wednesday (Oct. 24). She had seven total shots in the contest, including five on-target.

Defensive Player of the Week

Alex Lemekha, Western New England (Jr., GK)

Western New England University junior goalkeeper Alex Lemekha (Stamford, Conn.) stopped six of the seven shots she faced Tuesday (Oct. 23) helping the Golden Bears tie Roger Williams 1-1 in their regular season finale to clinch the fourth seed going into the CCC Tournament.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of nine full member and one associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 18 intercollegiate sports.
